Strong global cues gave good pull-back rally in Indian market. SENSEX closed at 16387, up 365 points and Nifty at 4917, up 110 points from the previous close.

CNX MIDCAP index was up 1.2% and BSE SMALLCAP index was up 1.7%.

The market breadth was positive with advances at 966 against declines of 319 on the NSE. IT and REALITY STOCKS attracted major buying interest while CEMENT and TELECOM STOCKS faced selling pressure.

Resistance : 4960 / 4985 / 5030 / 5065

Support : 4895 / 4860 / 4805 / 4760


SENSEX (16387)

Resistance : 16480 / 16545 / 16650 / 16785

Support : 16255 / 16180 / 16025 / 15965 / 15840




In the next session, NIFTY may face resistance around 4964-4980. Traders may remain short as long as NIFTY trades below 4980; above this level it would attract huge buying interest targeting 5065-5107. STEEL STOCKS may attract buying in the next session while OIL-GAS may face selling.


NIFTY FUT OI (both series) down with decreasing volumes indicating short covering.
